Too soon for new reptile?

Hey guys. I recently lost my leopard gecko this past week. Just gonna say CATS. I am having an internal battle to decide if it is too soon to get another lizard. Really thinking another bearded dragon, or if I should wait? I moved Jethro to our room to ensure the same thing would not happen again. I still do not know how it happened. I know it was natural instincts but I am still angry and depressed. I miss my Abby. She was the sweetest leopard gecko, just like Merlin was.

Sorry for your loss. You need to do what you feel is right in your heart. It might be too soon but then you might see a dragon or other animal that needs you.

I agree do what's in your heart....it might be too soon if your feeling conflicted...

If you’re not entirely sure you could look and see if a local animal rescue has a way for you to foster reptiles.
