About a month ago, I purchased the t5 HO 10.0 reptisun uvb tube and was wondering what you guys think of it. My beardie keeps puffing and I think it might be the cause of it? It might be from his reflection or early shedding. I know not a whole lot of people have it but if you guys do, I'd liked to know your opinion on it!

Here's my setup of his terrarium. The reason why I got the HO one is that I have a fine mesh top that blocks out most uvb. The HO provides enough uvb so it won't be blocked. And yes, that is a stuffed Shrek in the corner lol.

I LOVE the T5 HO bulbs. I use them in all of my tanks. My dragons tend to sit under it when they need it and then sit under their hammock when they don't. The hammock blocks the UVB out. You could try putting some paper on the inside of his tank to block out his reflection and see if that helps.

Will do! He definitely gets mad at his reflection because he keeps puffing and running towards the glass. I'm glad it has nothing to do with the uvb being too powerful.

You might want to put background on 3 sides, will make him feel more secure and will glass dance less if he cant see reflection.

Yea the males have a tendency to glass surf some more than others. My 2 boys have 3 sides covered on the inside. I tried to just put it on the outside but that really doesn't remove all reflection.

Any thoughts on the D3+ 12% UVB T5 Bulb? Saw it on the site I buy a lot of my supplies at, but never noticed it before.

It's a great bulb- those can sit on top of your screen but the screen needs to be a wide hole type - a fine mesh it would need to go inside the tank-- screens block approx 30% of the rays
