Stumpy

Hello, I’m new to the forum and to bearded dragons. We have a 14 week old, no idea of gender yet but I’m referring to it as a he. We got him a month ago. The tip of his tail was bitten off by a fellow hatchling which is why we called him Stumpy. We were told he is a translucent but that’s all I know about his colour/ type/ morph. He’s settled in well and is eating well.

I’ve noticed that his nails seem to have changed from clear to black over the last two weeks. Is that usual?

Hi, welcome to BDF. nipped tails are quite common among beardies, he will never miss it, just keep an eye open for infections. Hes very cute

I haven’t heard of that but I’m taking him to get his nails clipped next weekend so I’ll ask there. Thanks.
