My girlfriend and I were bathing my beardie the other day when we noticed some stool (pictured) would not come loose. She gently rubbed the area with both qtips and a cloth, and we've had no luck.
We took him to an emergency vet on Friday evening, as I was concerned about a possible prolapse (although not entirely visible in the picture, there seems to be some tan/grey tissue connected to the stool). The vet we saw said he wasn't concerned with a prolapse, but admitted he was not a specialist and suggested we use sugar water to reduce swelling if we thought it was one.
Looking at it, it doesn't look like the other prolapses shown online (it's small, not pink/red, etc...), so I'm not really sure what it even is. I would appreciate any input on what this might be and how it might be treated.
Thank you for your time.
