Hey! so I've begun ordering bulk, 500 crickets a month to feed the gang. Problem is, towards the end that bin smells disgusting! I don't imagine it's very clean either, but it's tough to clean with 500 crickets in there. I remove all food daily, but the stench remains.

    Any tips? Here's my setup.

Get another tote like you have transport them in to the other one and clean it w/ vinegar/ water solution and make sure its dry when putting them back in ---- I have gone to the dubia roaches in a 10 gallon aquarium and they are a lot easier to take care of and they dont stink - or chirp-- I get around 200 of them and clean out the food w/ a little dust pan and brush ---- keeping the food particles cleaned up from the crickets will help w/ the smell ----
