Skeeters getting bigger

Just thought I’d post an update of Skeeter. He’s doing well and growing at a good rate. Still eating his Dubia like it’s his job. Anyone else have a baby that can eat 50 Dubia in a day? Still refuses all greens. I can get him to eat a random piece of squash here and there and he does like watermelon but I only give it to him sparingly. He won’t touch any other fruit or veggies as of yet. I’ve tried every green on the list but he just refuses them even with bee pollen. I’m hopeful one day he will change his mind...

There is this veggie mix which my beardie eats instead of just the vegetables alone, but here are some pictures of it.

This is interesting I’ve never seen anyone else talk about this! I will definitely look into it, Thank you! He seems to like things when they are cut into tiny square chunks for some reason? That’s the only way I can get him to eat a few pieces of the squash and watermelon so maybe if I can cut this into pieces it would work. I appreciate it!

Repashy makes a few veggie based items. I have something called super veg that I sprinkle on the greens occasionally. Sometimes they will eat it and sometimes they won't. I wouldn't worry too much if the baby isn't eating the veggies, just give them to the dubia and make them nice and nutritious.

When mine were young, I was still afraid of dubia so we did crickets. They would eat like 75 a day! Thankfully I had a year between the two so I didn't have 2 babies at once, they would have eaten me out of house and home!

I will check that out too thank you!! I couldn’t even imagine having two babies at once, he eats so much!! He goes through 1000 Dubia in about 2 weeks to 2 1/2 weeks. Sometimes he eats a little less if he’s shedding and grumpy. But I make sure to gut load my Dubia. I guess I just worry he’s not eating any greens also I like to think it will save my pocket book some if he starts eating his greens lol

Oh, that's great that he's eating it at least! Keep trying to do it every day, so your Beardie can maintain a healthy diet. Also, yes it would preferably work if you cut the veggie mix into pieces, though just make sure Skeeter eats it of course.
