Hello! I have a 2 year old male bearded dragon named Pika that I rescued in early May. He started shedding at the end of May and has been since, he’s finally ALMOST done. Is this strange for a bearded who has transitioned homes? He was sick when I got him and even has missing nails on his hands and feet. His stool is also not consistent and changes to either solid or liquid every other time he goes. Is this normal as well? I feed him greens and squash every day, mango once a week and bell peppers twice a week. Also has crickets every other day and i do dust his salads with the herp stuff.

Hello, well it appears that he had multiple layers of shed, seen in that first photo. So I wouldn't call it unusual, I would just give more warm baths.

Update on his current shed still! Going on 3 months of consistent shed, here are some pictures from this morning, I think he might have some stuck shed.

It's normal and healthy for adults to be shedding in various areas.I use shedeeze for stubborn areas and turn the heat up slightly to encourage the skin to be ready to come off. I give regular baths and gently massage the stubborn areas with a baby soft toothbrush. It will eventually come off.
