Puffs light Upgrade!

Happy and angry situation.
I ordered Puffs new lUVB light, the Zoomed T5 HO 24w 22in 10.0 lamp, and the corresponding hood.
So, of course petco sends in as two separate packages [emoji849] . So I get the lamp first, and then today (a week later) I finally got the hood. Come to find out, the hood works great with the 5.0 lamp it came with, but the 10.0 lamp doesn’t work. I call petco blah blah, I go in to exchange it and have a new one sent to my house (since the store is out of stock) well lo and behold, the whole damn company is out of stock.
So, I call petsmart, they don’t carry it, I call pet supermarket, they don’t carry it.
Bless Amazon prime, because they have it, and it’ll be here in 2 Days!

Well I got the lamp and the hood on sale w/ a promo code so for both I only paid 53$ + free shipping.
But I was refunded for the lamp off sale price (so more than I actually spent on it) and I bought it for 12$ on Amazon.
But I’ll take a look at those for future needs!

Well I don't have prime but I have found that Amazon has been more expensive on things in my experience.

I Just got mine today, spent 19.50 in amazon. And will have one delivered every 6 months because I set it up that way. Granted the 10.0 and 5.0 look to me to emit the same amount of light? I was expecting something brighter.

Yeah. I like how flat and slim it is. My guy really likes it... He's been laying up near it all afternoon. I unplugged the regular light and it's really bright in there so I know the coverage is good!

I think it's that time of year where people start changing their bulbs. I love the brightness of the T5 bulbs and the slim fixture. I stopped using the ZooMed bulbs this year though, and started to use the Arcadia bulbs. They are a little more expensive but I feel that their output is a little better.

I know I spent like $300 because I ended up buying everyone bulbs because the shipping was like $15 regardless off how much I ordered so I just switched out everyone. I'm going to an expo next weekend, hopefully I can get a deal!

I may have bought some other stuff too but I have 5 tanks that use UVB bulbs and one tank that uses a special plant light.

So my new lamp came in! (thank you amazon) and it works! Now I’m not worried about Puff not getting enough UVB. Also, the silk worms came in! Although they are SUPER tiny lol. So you my geckos probably can’t even see them. So a couple weeks of growth is definitely in order [emoji28]
