My dubias are doing great. So nice to just reach in and get the fat ones out to my buddy. No trips to the store and no money spent. I urge anyone who needs feeders to grow their own. When he gets older and eats less protein I’m either getting another young beardie or start selling them.

I totally agree, (although i do have a different kind of roach, discoid) this was my bin a couple months ago, they have since exploded and im going through half a cup of roach chow a day, have you ever heard they like oranges? And it helps them breed? Reptile guy i go to who breeds them said its like an aphrodisiac to roaches.

Oranges help them breed but not good for bearded dragons. Have a tub for feeders and give no citrus to. If you give oranges to the breeders let the little ones get it out of there system before they are fed to your beardie.

Hi, I was watching these earlier and he mentions the oranges and about waiting a week until it’s out of their system, that part was in the second link I think, both videos are similar and by the same guy, worth a watch;

I’ve seen a lot of videos. A lot of info is the same but some are way off the path. Northern Exotics is funny and informative. I’m doing super worm farming now too, my first batch of beetles are hatching so now I have to wait to see how they breed.

There are so many videos, I found those to vids quite interesting, especially as he explains why. Please send pics of the super worn set up, would be interesting to see.

I got lucky and found these plastic boxes. Just drilled air holes and put in the fattest worms I could find. After they mature I put them in ground rolled oats. I have a 3 tier shelving unit for the plastic tubs when they start breeding and I have to separate.
