Hey guys, got my Beardie Ty (~12" snout to tail tip) last Sat and for the past 2 days he has been hiding and sleeping most of the day. He eats fine and is active if I wake him up, but if left alone he just hides and sleeps. I have a Reptisun 10.0 UVB and various lights. The hot side varies from 105-120+, and the cool gets down into the low 80s. I know the basking spot is too hot, but the other bulb I have barely reaches 100 degrees. What do you think I should do? Should I be concerned?

Glad he's staying alert, but if he wants to be in his hide all the time, there's a chance that he's trying to escape the heat. You can go to a hardware store (maybe even Walmart?) and get a dimmer switch to put the bulb on. Then, you can dim the hot bulb until it is at the appropriate temperature.
