Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and a new dragon owner. I have owned an iguana, newt and currently a leopard gecko but new to Bearded Dragons.
I rescued a Dragon that is aproximatley 3 years old. His owner didn't want him anymore.
I can NOT get him to eat anything but superworms. The only thing the past owner fed him was superworms and Kale, and she didn't tell me she fed him Kale (left it in his tank) but he doesn't actually eat it.
Any suggestions?
Tried------putting worms in the Kale so that he would see if moving and eat it, he grabbed a mouth ful of Kale and chopped mango and wasn't happy about it !! HAHA

Some people have luck with tough love. Withhold supers and they will get hungry enough to eat something else. How long have you had him? Once he settles in with you more, he might be willing to try new things.

Thanks,we only got him Saturday so he is all new to us.
We noticed he was very lethargic first couple of days and he also has bad eyes (sticky eye) lady told me she left the UVB light on ALL the time, even at night, I turn them off night time since we had him and just leave on ceramic heater, as of today his eyes are clearing up nicely.
But not eating much (few superworms) and no poop yet has me nervous

Sounds like he didn’t have the best care before you. He’s probably exhausted having the lights on all the time. Give him a few weeks and he should be just fine!
