Looking To Move

My husband are in the market to move again. While we love where we are, we need bigger space for us and the dog (and Mo once we move) and it just seems that the place wasn't maintained as it should have and now everything is falling apart. On top of that rent is going to have to be raised due to higher property taxes and quite frankly, what we pay for a 600sq ft 1 bdrm appartment could get us a spacious 900sq ft 2 bedroom. I have to say I'm excited but dreading it at the same time. Luckily we worked it out with our landlady in September that we wouldn't renew the lease but would pay monthly and give her about a months notice if we chose to move. Wish us luck! Finding a place that allows pets is nearly impossible around here and we have a small zoo that needs to move with us.

lol you could always move farther south, better pet policies and, in my opinion, better weather haha

Haha west I would do but not south. The south does not seem like my type of atmosphere (no offense cuz I love all you guys). My husband has been on a crazy search now since I told him about the most recent thing falling apart and he found TONS that allow pets so I take back what I said in the OP lol. There's a viewing of the one place and we would get our own yard! Oh god I can imagine all the lizard pits on one side and a small garden area in one side and an area for the dog....*drifts away into lala land*

PS: Most of the places INCLUDE electricity *evil grin*

LOL...the south is better. I live up in the Northeast. Got to say with all the traveling we do, although I do love being here...the mountains and the ocean, great colleges and hospitals, the people suck!!! People in the south, the midwest and the west are so much nicer than us Northerners.

See that is what is so great about NC. NC has Duke for human medicine, NC State for animal medicine, nice people, mountains and beach, low cost of living, the most beautiful sky, rolling hills I could go on and on about all the great things there. OHHHHHHHHHH I miss it so much.

Lol I would definitely not fit in as a southerner but I will admit it seems nice down there. I'm one of those fast paced, unfriendly northerners, who drive fast, have road rage. I would be chased outta town if I moved there lol
