Keeps closing one eye?

I just got my baby bearded dragon a few days ago and yesterday I noticed she's started to close her left eye at random times. She'll bask and do it, and when I have her out of the cage she'll close it too. It's not always closed, it's just like she blinks for a long time. I'm not sure if its the lights I'm using. I'll attach a picture of the boxes and how I have the cage set up. I'm not sure if she's too close to the lamp, it's almost a foot, around 9 inches.

Sometimes they just close one eye. I would keep an eye on it and look for any discharge.

Problems from lights usually come with the coil bulbs not the compact bulbs. However, the compact UVB bulb you are using isn't the best long term bulb to use. It doesn't penetrate far enough down into the tank. To get benefit from it, your dragon will need to be about 4 inches from it. A tube style T5 bulb is the best option. You want your UVB to cover 2/3's of the the tank and a T5 bulb can still give great UVB coverage trough the mesh top of the tank. If you go with a T8 size tube bulb, you will need to mount it inside your tank.
