I find it weird he always lays like this. My sister says hers does not, I just wanna know if I should take him to a vet...

lol I think its cute the way they hang onto things with their bellies, got a bit of 'sexy leg' going on there. That sand is bad news though, you might want to consider changing it for carpet or tiles or paper towels even (your choice though of course)

I know my boyfriend put it in there the other day and mufasa just loves it so much but I'm going to get a whole new aquarium here in a couple days it's almost finished so I'm not too worried. Plus we don't feed him in there we take him out to feed him so I thought he would be fine. He just loves digging in it and laying down.

Glad he's getting a new home soon looking forward to seeing his new digs. It isn't necessarily a eating it when they are feed as yes they do that too but they also taste their environment all the time and that's how they ingest small amounts when they do that each time since their tongue is sticky...
