my beardie Steven is a baby still and has posing like this when basking. Is this a normal behavior or is that similar to “stargazing” adenovirus?

I hope it’s fine. My baby does that fairly often, too. He does all sorts of weird positions: with his hind legs on a lower step but his hands up higher, then a few minutes later he’ll be flat like a pancake, then he’ll be up on his hands like you showed, then he’ll turn around 180*...

It's perfectly normal. Bearded dragons just do strange things that we will never understand!
