I just found out that my little rescue dragon... along with all her other issues is apparently gravid according to her vet. However, the eggs in the xray don't look promising and we are trying everything to get her to expel those eggs if they aren't already bad. I want to make her a laybox just in case it might help her instincts to kick in and get her to try and lay. I'm new to this... I don't know anything about female beardies.

Can I do this in a 10gallon tank?
Do I buy any play sand?
How long do i put her in there, Do I just leave her in said tank with her heat leap and light?
Should I put her in a quiet room?

If she can't lay her eggs then I will probably have to have her put down and that just kills me :( I'm hoping PRAYING that this might help along with everything else we are trying!:bd:

I don't really have experience with this. Once I thought Dexter was going to lay eggs and I bought her a small cat litter box and put a mixture of childrens play sand and eco substrate and put it in one side of her tank, but she never went in it and never had eggs.
