we are in the process of of building a 4x2x2 wooden Viv. I don’t like the look of the blank wood background. I’m also not a fan of the DIY styrofoam rock background. I’d prefer a desert background possibly vinyl. My concern is how to adhere it to the wood without causing toxic fumes with the basking light....is their a safe adhesive that can be used?

Not really sure. I wonder if you could do like a wood iron on transfer.

Hmmmm. I read that aquarium silicone sealant is safe or I’m thinking of just stapling it and making sure the staples are hammered down to sit flush to the wood so they can’t cause injury.

Yeah, I would go for staples or drawing pins, that way its easy to remove should you ever wish to change it. A lot of adhesives liquify in the high heat anyway

I would think the silicone would make it look bumpy.
