Hello, I'm new to the site no idea what I'm doing but i need help with my little girl, Suki.
I "rescued" her and her late sister from a lady who neglected and didn't know what she was doing in the least with beared dragons. They were both 3 at the time and now Suki is around 6/7 (unclear if she was 3), shes had no trouble up to yet.
About a month ago she showed signs of Upper respiratory infection just like my other dragon, Mushu. Sadly i took him to the vets, they said they were a specialist but they diagnosed him wrongly and ended up stressing me and him, resulting in killing him.
There isnt a specialist near me, like easy 6miles away for a possible one or 14+miles for a definite specialist.
I don't know what to do since i don't think she can survive going that far, shes also recently (2 days ago) hurt her mouth and I'm worried its mouth rot now.
If anyone could help me I'd much appreciate it, I'm panicking and i dont want to lose her like i did with Mushu

Ill answer any questions i can to help out as much as i can, please i just want to make her life good.

(Sorry for long post, Araikai)

what signs is she showing? if it is a respiratory infections she really needs to see a vet and get on proper medications to help her. I lost my sweet spike at the beginning of November due to respiratory infection and I know how hard that is to see a beloved animal can be.
my heart is crying for you and I hope suki feels better soon.

Very sorry you've come here under these circumstances.. She needs to be seen by a reptile vet if it is a respiratory infection it for sure needs meds before it gets too bad.
do you have pictures of her mouth? what makes you say it's mouth rot?

Since she finds it hard to move to eat i have to help her, i usually place live food infront or hold it for her but veggies she struggles with and water so i use a syringe, like baby cough syurp one, to get some in her. She got excited and bit the syring, now theres a little damage there and its going darker almost black in colour. Im just worried

I have no reptile vets in a close enough range, is there any thatll be able to come out or should i risk taking her on a long journey (nearly 2hrs one way) to see a vet? I dont want to stress her and make her die.

I'm sorry but you are going to have to risk taking her to the other vet. If she passes on the way there, at least you were trying to help her. If you don't try to take her to the reptile vet, she is going to suffer and pass painfully at home. Respiratory infections are no joke and need to be treated with an antibiotic specific to her condition. As far as the mouth, it looks like she hurt it on something. Mouthrot usually starts as a calculous buildup around the teeth.

Thanks I'll try to get her to the vets as soon as they are available. Im happy it just seems like an injury, im going to try and get more food into her, is there any sort of recipe for making a calcium and fruit dragon food? She loves bananas but she gives up trying to get a good amount in, so im hoping on making a mush like baby food for her with vitamins and calcium powder.

She's got a lot of mucus in her mouth, watery eyes, constantly crackling and taking sudden breaths. Shes actually gotten better since I've been steaming the bathroom and give her nice warm baths, shes bloated too but it goes down quite a bit once i help her go toilet.
Her appetite is really bad, in summer she would eat loads to a point id have to stop her, now she won't even look at locusts but will eat some wax worms.
She does sleep loads but shes always slept more than her sister and mushu so i dont think much of that.

Fruit isn’t the best diet for them because of the sugar, it’s best to use as a treat. You can make a slurry by blending up healthy greens like collards, turnip greens, mustard greens and dandelion greens with a bit of spring water and mix in your supplements.

She hate greens aha, she usually spits them out if i try and trick her. If i make like mush of food, using greens as a base and like half a banana with supplements will that be good? I think i can trick her with the flavouring to eat more greens, she loves bell peppers and on very occasions she'll want to eat spinach off my plate (i think if i eat it shes more willing to eat it, shes always copied her sister whether to eat something or not)
I am planning on freezing half the mixture so it'll last longer. Is there something you would recommend to feed her with, since she hurt her mouth on a syringe i wanna play safe and use something she can't be hurt by.

I've noticed that she really perks up and is a lot more active while in the bathroom, she runs around and sometimes drinks water by her own accord. I'm not too sure what gets her so active, i think it may be the humidity or the place and it helps her breathe better :)

You could also try blending the greens with a little bit of plain coconut water. That might perk her up a bit and sweeten the greens a little. Try putting the slurry in the tip of her nose with the syringe and rub her beard a little. It should get her to lick it off and when she starts licking you can keep giving her more.

I have a little rescue I am trying to help too and someone recommended Repashy grub pie since it is really hard to get him to eat. It's like bug jello. Actually my other two dragons love it too. Really easy for them to eat.

Hope she gets to feeling better soon!
