Does it matter if food is on the warm or cool side?
I'm considering also offering a shallow water dish that it can get into...same question.

I keep the salad on the cool side and bug bowel on the warm side. I left bugs on the hot side once and I came home to oven baked bugs lol

Not a proven reason but I like to keep my food away from all the lights. I feel like the UVB might degrade the salad faster. But that's just me.
