How do I help him enjoy the bath? He hates hates hates it. I used to fill up my bathroom sink and put him in there. He hated it. So I got a litter box to fill up so it’s more shallow, I check the temp of the water so it’s not too hot and he still hates it. Any suggestions?

Mine really dont like them either but they now tolerate it -- but I only bathe them when they really need it -- like if they have poop all over themselves or if the femoral pores are needing to soften up - most times they dont drink but on occasion they will -- they mainly get their water from the greens I feed and rinse before serving

See my guy struggles to eat any greens. The vet said that’s normal but he doesn’t poop regularly because of it. So I moreso do the baths to keep him hydrated and hope to coax a poop out of him. He hasn’t pooped for a couple weeks.

Normal for them not to poop for longer periods of time- what have you done to coak him to eat greens? I can help w/ some worms - have you tried any of that? W/ him not eating greens he needs a multivitamin with beta carotene 2 x per week dusted on his staple feeder- tell me anything you've tried so far

I’ve given him dandilion greens, kale, bananas, spinach, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, reg lettuce, collards, and be tried putting bee pollen on it; put bugs on it and he only eats the bugs.

He also refuses to eat crickets and now doesn’t care for dubias anymore either. He mainly only eats worms

What kind of worms? He's hooked on the worms- and he's got you trained- I would lay off all worms then feed only salads- greens turnip collard kale or mustard - squash like zucchini yellow butternut - please no spinach or iceberg lettuce romaine is good - fruit once in awhile- have you tried bsfl?

I don’t know what bsfl is? He eats meal worms, wax worms and horn worms. How long should I not give him the worms for? He holds out a long time of not eating

How old is he, you can try to sprinkle some bee pollen on the veggies

What are you suppose to bath them with? I kinda just put mine in his bathing thing and put water and dish soap... Is there a soap for Bearded dragons or can i keep using dish soap?

No dish soap---- if he needs a bath like if hes soiled himself or has some shed going on thats like flaking off dry and crackly or if hes drinking from the bath would be the only times he needs it --- too many baths dry the scales out -- you can get some baby shampoo UNSCENTED that you can use --- most dragons get their hydration from the greens / salads your feeding --- rinse the greens before serving

If hes not feeling it no need to stress him out. Unless hes smeared in poop you don't really need to bathe. For drinking purposes dragons get a majority of water through their diet. It can help with shedding but proper husbandry will ensure they don't get stuck shed and such.

Play soft meditation music on your phone on YouTube. Water is prolly too hot it should be a sliver above cold like semi lightly warm. And brush him downward with a soft toothbrush for part of the bath time. Baths are only twice per week and more when shedding give him a few weeks to a month till he gets bigger than u can do the baths but def mist him 2-3 times a day with a spray bottle & make sure the water is dechlorinated or it dries out their skin; u can buy REPTISAFE drops to drop onto their bathing water. Chlorine dries out their skin.
