Hello everyone,

I went to feed my bearded dragon today and was a bit surprised by his suddenly dark colouring and some spots that I didn’t think were there before. He actually belongs to my brother and lives in my brothers bedroom so it may be that I just hadn’t seen him recently but I have attached some pictures so hopefully someone could let me know if there’s anything I should be worried about.

Thank you,
Delphine

Was this in the morning? Bearded dragons darken up to absorb heat, if his beard was black then id be concerned.

I would recommend that the wood chips be gotten rid of --- if he ingests one of them it could cause some serious damage inside or impact him ----- what is is he using for a UVB ? coil or a tube? basking temps need to be 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer NO stick ons please they are inaccurate ---
