Hey guys, any good advice on stopping crickets from dying on me all the time. they're only lasting a few days, dying left right and centre.

Good ventilation and not too much moisture.
How are you keeping them?

In a large container and we're constantly placing food in (food which will be past through to the beardies).

are you getting adults/large crix? if so your die offs may not be due to anything you are doing. The cricket virus kills adult phase crickets quite quickly. Ghann's is still up and running but only selling up to 1/2 inch sizes as they were one of the only cricket breeders that was not affected by the virus so everyone bought their adult crix to try and replinish their own.

they are medium black crickets and get fed on the food we feed the beardies so it'll pass on

I found that when I switched my crix to an aquarium with a screen top they don't really die much anymore. I think I lose about 3-5 a day now. Mine never did very good in the plastic bins.
