Hey guys. I have a year and a half old dragon. I've had him this whole life just about. My girl called me at work. His beard is black yet he isn't pissed off. There is no other bearded dragon so he's not showing domance. I think he is sick! And I don't know what to do I really need help!! I live in Puyallup WA. And haven't been able to find a vet who would look at him. So please help!! IMG952642.jpg

How's your dragon? There are many reasons for black bearding. Sometimes it's a girl, sometimes something just irritates them and sometimes it's because they aren't feeling well.

Do you have a full picture of your beardie? It's hard to tell here but he looks a little thin.

Yes he is thin. He was a healthy boy. He hasn't been eating. I've tried everything besides force feeding. I've tried all sorts of different foods. He also went from super active, climbing, running around his tank now he just lays in his hide or in the cold side of the tank. I don't want him to die. This the third bearded dragon I've had and never had anything like this happen!

I would do a Google search for accredited exotic vets in the area.
