Big hornworm—too big?

I have a hornworm that’s gotten pretty big (they grow so fast!). I’ve heard they deflate when bitten. So is it ok to still feed it to Jayne, or do I not risk it, since it’s so big and she’s so little (she’s approximately three-and-a-half months old, maybe around 9” long. The hornworm is probably a good two inches long.)? I’ve read both yes and no in searches. :/

If the width of the hornworm isn't bigger than the space between her eyes she should be okay. They do deflate when they start to get chewed but I wouldn't give her something that is too big. Even though it deflates she might have problem swallowing it.

It’s not wider than the space between her eyes, but I’m still nervous. If here’s even a chance, better safe than sorry. I’ll just toss it this time. Or see if my tarantula wants it. Thanks!
