Beardie with red feet?

Yesterday like i usually do, check my bearded dragon and before i went to bed i can 100% confirm my beardie did not have this. So... I woke up this morning to noticed this unfamiliar red velvet-y looking stuff on my bearded dragon's hind feet. Almost like someone drew on my dragons feet with red chalk. I first thought it was blood but i don't see any cuts or scrapes on her. I do not own anything that can scratch my Beardie and there is nothing red in my cage. I don't even know how to describe it because I've never read or seen this before. I have owned a bearded dragon before this one for 8 years and never come across this. I have no idea what it is.

Checklist:
-Bearded Dragon is 3 years old.
-UVB is 8 inches above Bearded Dragon on for 10 hours.
-Basking light is 8 inches above Bearded Dragon on for 10 hours.
-Red Infrared night light is 8 inches above Bearded Dragon on for 14 hours.
-Substrate is paper towels.

Can u please post pictures for people to see? And there shouldn't be a night light for beardies...a ceramic heat emmiter is enough if your temps drop to low.

I agree, post a picture of your set up. Like Wiltheeman said, red lights are bad for beardies. Not only do they cast shadow over their head at night and they think they are going to be eaten, but during the day it doesn't allow their eyes to constrict like they should and can burn their retinas. If you can't get your daytime heat up, consider getting a higher wattage basking bulb.

Thank you guys for the information, I never knew of this! It's kind of hard to see in the picture but its much clearer in person. Here is a picture:

Hmm interesting. Do u use calcium sand? Can u take a pic of his enclosure too? I've read that it could be mbd symptoms or an infection.

It is odd. Was she ever on any type of sand ever? Also, is it possible she stepped in her food? Like berries or orange squash or something?

During my monthly cleaning of her tank, I replace the paper towels and clean the decor in the tank. I found out what was wrong with her feet. She has miraculously been hiding her red gel treats I gave her under the wood cave seen below. They melted into a pile of goop and she must have been laying her hind legs in them. Thank you all for taking your time and help for my post. :) :) (And also to answer you question no i've never used sand before because i heard it was bad.)
