Hi! This is my bearded dragon Binnie!

Hes 4 months old and a whole whopping 95 grams!
His dad was a high orange German Giant, and His mom was a high citrus Leather back (i got to meet them, poor babies were in really bad conditions, sadly the whole pet store was in bad shape)

I just had a couple questions on how to tell if hes got the giant gene, and possibly the leatherback?

I went to another pet store and they said he might since hes so large compared to his brother cypie whose only 19 grams. But im not sure.

My understanding is that true German Giants have been phased out long ago. People like to use that term when they come upon a dragon that is bigger than others. Dragons grow at different rates, under good conditions they thrive. My boy was 113 grams at 4 months, 5 years later he is about 600g but only around 18" long. So not a German Giant, just a fat boy!
