Here’s my bioactive set up for Towlie.... Day humidity is 35-45%
at night is 55-60%
It’s a 40 gallon tank (Will be upgrading to 75G in a couple months)
I have a basking spot of 102°F
Mounted 30” T8 Reptisun 10.0 inside enclosure with being 4 inches away from Basking and 10-12 inches everywhere else....I also have a 17”T8 4500k naturalistic daylight fixture for the plants. I saw a video where they did a test, at a distance of about 4 inches, UVI readings were on the 5s
At 12 inches, UVI levels went down to 2 ish
The video is on the bio dude YouTube page... I have cork bark to hide.. eatable succulents.... I have a Groove Wireless Hygrometer/Thermometer that syncs the data to my phone. It’s placed right on the middle of hot and cool spot. For $15 it’s a must. (Pic of Groove is from chameleon enclosure)
On of the last Pics is from his enclosure before going bioactive

The 10-12 inches for UVB is a little too far for a T 8 it should be 8-10 and 4 inches is too close --- I would switch out that T 8 bulb for a T 5 better bulb and stronger - distance should be 12-15 inches for a T 5 --- everything else looks real good - are you offering a heat gradient for him for his basking temps or is it the only temp of 102-- if you can get a piece of decor to offer a heat gradient that would be great for him that way he can pick and choose of where he wants to sit for heat temps-- and there is NO cover on the UVB fixture correct?
No variant yet... will add more cork bark and rearrange... T8 is not covered.. I will upgrade to a T5 soon

LOL he looks very grumpy- is he going into a shed possibly?? Have you moved decor around or did you just move him into the bioactive? That could be why hes upset --- relocation stress --
I moved decor around, but I fed him after and he was Koo... He saw me put on some black gloves and he started doing that
