Just looking for a little insight on the size of my beardie

Hi. My dragon is 5 months old also and has just gone thru a huge growth spurt too. He's grown about 4 inches quickly and it seems like in a constant shed. He's a normal mixed with citrus. Nothing fancy. The charts can be confusing because of the wide ranges they give. You obviously have good...

How to stop beardie from pooping on hammock?

Hope it works too. It may take a minute to get your baby used to doing it. Halo always pooped in the same spot so it was kinda easy for me. Luck to you and let us know if it helps.

How to stop beardie from pooping on hammock?

I had the same issue with mine pooping on his big bridge. Yes it is a pain to clean. I started putting in a folded paper towel on his bridge and he poops on it! Unless the paper towel falls off he uses it every time. All I do is take it out and flush it. Halo is only 5 months old and does not...

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Looks great! You could probably back off on the Neosporin and vetericyn for now. Doesn't look like there are any open wounds anymore. Maybe bathe the foot every other day or two also. Just watch for any changes and keep her enclosure clean. You've done very well with her.

new beardie owner, needing help or advice (poor appetite, runny poop)

Cute little guy! He's just having relocation stress plus shedding makes them a little crazy. Sounds like he may just be having looser poop because of the at content in superworms. Dragons can get over hydrated causing a lot of liquid. Temps are good as long as he has a cool side to go to get out...

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Hey, you'll have to check with Sadie for approval on the light. She's the expert in that field. I'd love an update on the toe in a week or two though. Thanks.

Sadie, why is the thrive brand no good?

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Yay! So happy her foot is better. Looks better to me too. It looks like its at the stage where is scabbing over to heal. Please, please be careful with the cleaners. They will damage the new skin. But you do what you feel is right for you and the baby. I'm not gonna get into the whole light/UVB...

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Hey. Good lord that's alot of undigested crickets! Her basking temp definitely needs to be raised. Dragons are considered babies until they're five months old. Therefore your basking temp needs to be around 105. She may not eat for a day or two until she gets rid of all that. You're doing good...

Do I need to take her to a vet?

You're very welcome. Let us know how she's doing and hopefully Sadie will get back with you soon.

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Well I'm no expert by any means (you'd have to wait for Sadie's friend who is a vet tech for that) but it seems like you're doing all the right things. I'd lay off the betadine and vetericyn for a few days and use Neosporin for about 3 days. Both beta dine and vetericyn are basically cleaners...

Do I need to take her to a vet?

Was it just one toe and then infection or whatever spread to the other two toes? Has it gotten better or worse since you started treatment? How long have you been doing the betadine? Sorry for the questions but your answers will help.

    Nervous new beardie parent

Hey. I feel your pain sweetheart. Bilbo is just a little freaked out right now. He will poop, trust me. I was a basket case when my baby arrived a couple of months ago. He didn't poop for five days! Dragons like to be up high. They feel safe. These guys have been around for thousands of years so...

Bearded Dragon opening mouth to gasp, only SOMETIMES?

Does your BF wear any type of cologne or body spray? Does she try to get off of him when he has her? Have you checked for stuck nose shed? Idk, those may all sound a little silly but sometimes its the last thought of thing. You try holding her in the exact same position, in the exact same space...

    Beardie hardly ever wakes up

Oh my my my! This just makes me sick! My Halo just turned 5 months and is absolutely spoiled! I just can't image someone getting one of these guys and not even trying to get any info on how to care for them. I will pray for this baby. Thank you for rescuing her. Please keep us updated. I sure...
