  • If anyone could help me figure this out so I can be the best new owner possible for this beardie I would greatly appreciate it
I'm not sure if he's stressing out and not getting enough uvb or is in brumation (idk if I spelt that correctly but hibernation for them)
But I'm seeing now that he hasn't digested the superworms fully and is getting darker in color and is sleeping during the day as well.
I keep a towel to cover the cool side on top of the mesh top so that it stays warm enough for him at night since we are in a basement.
He's not digesting the superworms properly so I'm assuming the temps may be off. The hot spot in his basking area is at 110
I'm trying to do my research for this beardie and make sure he's healthy since the owners I got him from stopped feeding him for 3 weeks
Tank lid with ceramic bases from Zoo Med with one bulb being a red heat bulb for night time and the other is a 3 in 1 heat/uva/uvb bulb.
But before that I don't know so I'm not sure how old he is. he is in a 40 gal breeder tank with a double light that lays on the metal mesh
I just got my first bearded dragon a week ago today. I'm new to owning a reptile. The owner before had him for a year
