    Hi Guys, We have moved location, 50kms away and now we have an outdoor… which I am extatique with… I am planning to build an outdoor enclosure for the big boy… he seem to come out from his letargy… Looks like he enjoy his new environnement.

    Funny story, since I placed Buddha in his enclosure last Thursday, big boy hasn’t left his side since… today it’s Sunday and still along side his statue. He moved a bit left and right but always on this corner…

    Step by step I am upgrading his enclosure… Today I found a cheap Buddha repro and decided to make him a present. I will do his vivarium nicely when I move places…

    Is he morphing into a darker shade with the new shedding or it’s because it’s fresh? Because the colour is now darker and definitely more red.

    So shedding it is… I am relieved, because the previous owner said he was just coming out from shedding, I was hoping I didn’t have other problems in my hands. So I guess I will erase everything the previous owner told me and start from when I got him…

    As long as it’s shedding only… because for what I understood he just came out of shedding… I’ll certainly keep an eye on that.

    Hi guys, I have noticed a discolouration of his scales in some areas, to my knowledge he shed before I got him… does this seem normal to you? I hope nothing serious. Thanks for advising.

    Car rides and Outside Exposure

    I can’t wait to get mine out and about but it has been winter since I rescued him so no outdoors at the moment… But I am sure we will have great time during summer.

    I am very pleased to say that I have a very happy roommate … he is chilling like no tomorrow, eating well… active just enough… curious, attentive… I am happy.
