My beardie is shedding and i am seeing her slithering across the floor while scratching the ground with her claws. I am wondering why she does that because i have bark and stones in the vivarium that aid her shedding, so why would she slither across the flat floor?
i took a small glass and put coconut water in, then threw small dubias in. She attacked the dubias and naturally missed a few times, taking in coconut water instead. This may be a cool trick to hydrate them, it seemed fun to her too because he was huntinig the swimming dubias. May be a bit cruel...
Could be a numerous amount of things probably, id suggest to go to a vet. May be unrelated but my bird had something similar and it was a tumor made from fat dueto a wrong diet, wasnt dangerous though.
She was also way skinnier than she is now when I bought her and with how well she is seeming to gain weight i am guessing that fat pads just take a longer time to regenerate than overall body mass and that they will be looking good soon as well. She is also missing claws/nails on some of her...

I got a 75 watt uvb bulb and a 100 watt halogen heat lamp as well as an led strip for more lighting. Basking spot is around 55 degrees celsius and average temperature in the tank is like 30 degress. I feed her carrots and greens as well as dubia roaches,
I just started scrubbing my beardie gently with a toothbrush and realized that the pink coloring came off a bit and is probably the red sand the seller kept her in. I gave her several baths already in the last few days and it didnt come off, wich means that the sand mustve gotten into her...
I've only had my beardie for a week and sice the day i bought her she has had some weird pink coloring on her head. Is this just a really thick part of skin that is about to be shed or something more serious?
