I had 3 untill recently and used the cheap 14w heat pads from gumtree and had tjem plugged into 1 thermostat with the sensor taped to the mat set at 28dc. They thrived had them in 55 litre storage tubs

with carpet just use a bit of thick cardboard, plywood or similar. it only heats 1 side. Mine are on a shelf in the garage.
Wardrobe will be perfect.

easy to set up. you can follow most of the information from the net...
1. get at least a 55ltr container (storage tubs works the best)
2. get egg cartons and stack on side 3/4 of the tub (other is for food and moisture.

Mine tubs sit ontop of a 14watt heat mat with the temp at 30dc.
Never any melting.. and do not need a addional heat element

Sounds normal to me. Mine always hide.. i only check on my breeding boxes once a month or 2 other than to feed and add water. To actually see them, I need to shake the egg cartons.
Dont worry keep plenty of food and water (moisture) and heat on them, and they will do their stuff..

Move them intp a bigger container Get some rolled oats or bran for the base (substrate) and use some potatos for moisture. Do not get it wet...

Yes that will be plenty. Add some egg cartons and some fruit and veg for moisture. Keep the temp at around 30dc amd they will start to breed for you.. (takea a little time for them to start)
