UV Lighting

Hey all i have a 4ft long viv for my beardie just bouught a 4ft UV light that just fits in my viv but am i right in saying there needs to be an area without UV coverage so he decide if he wants to be out of it or not?

You are fine with the coverage, just make sure you provide places for him to hide if he chooses..

I agree, just offer places for him to hide. My UVB covers the length of the tank. I have a hammock bridge going the length of the tank. They sit on top when they want UVB and go under when they want to get away from it. The UVB can't penetrate the bridge.
