I am receiving a baby female citrus hypo tomorrow morning and really excited! I currently have a chameleon that I adore but want a more fun/interactive little reptile. I hope all goes well as I plan on spoiling her and love the fact that I can make her salads LOL

She arrived today an hour earlier than expected. I do not want to take pics of her because I want her to relax for a day or two. She has all her food and lighting and I am leaving her alone ---no handling. My concern is the breeder has been feeding her greens and veggies/fruit but no live prey. I bought some Natures Juvie bites (worms and some veggies but I hear this stuff is controversial.

Hope I'm

No live food?????
Get yourself some small crickets or dubia roach nymphs and get that baby on live food they have to have the protein as they are fast growers and need it.. offer the greens daily as well and gutload the feeders but the primary food should be live...
take a look at the links below several of our comments as we have put together a ton of info for new comers and you will find food links and everything that you could need for your beautiful little one

She's cute! Get some love bugs in her! I can't believe the breeder wasn't giving her any.

You must have a veiled chameleon if you are looking for a more friendly reptile LOL! My veiled is the grumpiest sweetheart

No I actually have a Jackson's but he likes to do his own thing. I had a Veiled and he was a monster but he chilled out and someone adopted him from me LOL

Hey, its beautiful! what kind of breeder doesnt give babies live food? it boggles the mind. I guess the kind that realises just how much it costs to feed a whole clutch of them and is just after the money. Im glad this one has a good home and will be getting everything it needs. Id pass on those pellets, live food and fresh veg is everything they need.

Thank you she is pretty and VERY tiny. She was hatched in late June! Yes, the breeder stated she was eating Rep Cal pellets, dried mealworms and Repashy Grub pie.along with fresh greens. I took the advice here and fed her crickets and dubias yesterday along with some live worms. She gobbled them all up! Still haven't named her yet but she appears perfect, no nips or anything
