Bearded dragons are pretty simple as long as they are warm and didn't have its beard puffed up their usually ok and happy. They don't move much except the occasional head movement. If they bob their heads a bunch supposedly that means they're upset as well although I've never seen mine do it...
Males have to separated at all times. Males will fight each other and if you put a female in there it will stress her out

You can't put them together your big one will eat the baby. U need to keep them separated and don't put the smaller tank in the bigger tank there's no reason for it and ur big bearded will stress the little one out. In the end even when their close to the same size and are BOTH FEMALE they still...

I have 1 adult female bearded 1 juvenile male bearded 4 adult leopard geckos 8 hatchling, a crested gecko, and getting a veiled soon and that's just what wats roaches ;)
