    10 Gallon Tank Set Up

He'll get UVB from the compact, but it can be very bad for their eyes. Can even cause blindness.

    10 Gallon Tank Set Up

You'll only need the MVB. You can ditch both the heat light, and any UVB.

Mercury Vapor Bulbs can be found at just about any pet store. You can also find them on several websites.

    10 Gallon Tank Set Up

A 10 gallon tank isn't really large enough, even for a 6" baby. It won't provide a sufficient "cool side". I would suggest getting a 20 gallon long, asap. I would toss the compact UVB bulb, and invest in a mercury vapor bulb (MVB). They're more expensive, but one would provide your little buddy...

Thank you @sappihira80. I'm taking another juvenile to a breeder later this week. I'll most likely take Tigger as well. Hopefully, I'll get a more solid answer.

I bred two of my adults. That's why there are so many. There will only be eight or nine soon.

The three adults are in separate enclosures. The four little ones are together for now because my other four tanks are currently occupied...by 18 other babies. I also have my niece's (in another tank), for now.
