I also have heard that those marks on belly are not from stress, and my babies do the same thing sometimes when they are basking, happy as ever. Idk but I'll have to look more into that, that's for posting :)
Please do not get a heat rock !! An under the tank heat pad is ok but if the temps get below 60°-65°F, you should get a moonlight bulb bc it's much safer. But if the temp in your house/beardies tank doesn't get below these temps, you don't need any heat source at night, and definitely nothing...
