    my bearded at paint

The main concern about eating paint is lead poisoning. Paints haven't been made with lead in the US since the 1970's, so unless its paint from a really old wall, it's not likely to contain lead. If he just ate one small chip, it shouldn't block his digestive system. You're idea to give him a...

Getting the evil look from Precious

Awwww how cute!! She's adorable! I read cilantro and parsley are high in calcium, is that right? How does she get to the window? Do you have a window box for them? I've looked for one for my beardies buy haven't found anything.

    handling a baby dragon...

In my experience, baby bearded dragons are always more skittish and jumpy. It's not anything you're doing wrong, it's just their instinct to jump and run and hide because most baby beardies get eaten in the wild (out of a clutch, one or maybe two will survive into adulthood). As he gets older...

    Hello!

What a cutie! I think it's great you rescued a beardie that needed a home, instead of just buying one. Congrats!

    Genetics

You would have all het hypo offspring. Colors aren't morphs in bearded dragons, so the offspring could be any color, although you could expect some to resemble the colors of their parents, or be a combination of the two.

    Still confused

I would guess he's a leatherback too. It's a little hard to tell from the picture but his scales do look smaller, and his side spikes look neater and shorter, like most leatherbacks have. Keep us updated as he gets older and you can see for sure!

Has Your Female Laid Infertile Eggs?

Thank you to everyone that replied, the info was really helpful. I think my girl is just plump. She has put on weight, but no lumps or other signs, so I think she's just "developing her figure" lol.

    Skin issue? Honestly not sure...

A baby beardie I fostered a few weeks ago had the exact same yellowish thick skin that your beardie has on his tail and underbelly. I think it was retained shed because after about a week of betadine soaks every day, along with toothbrush "scrubbing", it started to peel away and look better...

    Male + female = babies ?

Also, female beardies don't really seem to care about their eggs. In the wild, after they lay and bury them, they don't come back. The babies are independent once they hatch. However, females can lay a second or third clutch of eggs after the first. Whether or not these eggs are fertile or...

    Male + female = babies ?

If a male and a female are housed together, they will eventually breed and the female will get pregnant. Once she is pregnant, she has to lay the eggs or she will become egg bound (eggs trapped in her body) and will die. Even if you did want to breed them, you couldn't keep the male and female...

Very sorry to hear about your troubles, and I think it's very noble of you to find a new home for your dear friend. Good luck, and I hope things get better for both of you.
