I have 4 beautiful Bearded Dragons available for loving new homes.. They hatched the 1st week in July and are at least 6 inches and through their 1st shed. They are eating well on small discoids, crickets and collards.

Update!! I have 6 ready for there new homes. 2 sold already. They grew 2 inches in 3 weeks and are already 6 inches and through 1st shed going in another.
Yes! It is amazing how different they all are. I have one that just finished his first shed already this morning. I can already tell he is a boy and he is gonna be huge!!
Welcome. A pic would help. More than likely it is just a spot of high pigment of color not any other morphs. More than likely a grandparent could of had that color.
I would get him to a vet right away.. MBD can start after 2 weeks of no uvb and calcium. The vet should be able to give an injection of some kind of calcium. I would say his case is severe and health is in grave danger.
I agree it does look like it was pinched. If you got him that way it was probably from when he was younger and a cage mate prob ate a cricket that was on his tail and unfortuneatly his tail got in the way. As long as it looks clear from any signs of infection I would not worry.
How often are you feeding crickets and worms? They are a lot like kids trying to eat their veggies. A full grown healthy bearded dragon is not going to starve themselves. Sounds like she knows if she doesn't eat enough veggies that she will get her protein. In this situation it is hard but...
LOL! The other day I kept hearing my male trying to scratch and get out. When I walked by him I smelled why! He stunk himself out. Usually it goes away a little while after I clean it up. I have seen deodorizer out there but have never used any. Maybe some baking soda next to her tank...
