hehe I used to have a fully grown male Green Iguana who was like that. If you were a guy he was perfectly fine, if you were a women then expect him to turn sideways and start whipping at you with his tail.
He was the most sexist lizard i have ever met haha
It's a blend of soil, clay and sand. Yowie has escavated her own cave under one of the large pieces of driftwood in her vivarium which she sleeps in every night.
Ok first thing you want to do is rearrange your decor. You want a piece of decor directly under the basking spot but make sure it doesn't exceed 110 in temp. At the moment from what I can see in that picture his basking area directly under the light is bare. Preferably use something large that...
can I ask what the three bulbs are over the tank. Obviously I can see you have a UV tube as well but I don't understand the 3 light set up across the full length of the tank
Yeah I would definitely say he's quite striking. He has patterning that could be termed genetic stripe I suppose. He's very heavily red in the beard and lower jaw area that makes him even more eye-catching.
Glad he seems a lot happier with his new lighting
Just to clarify when Skybug says 'scrub' him they don't mean treat him like a dirty dish with dried on food - they mean gently rub them in the direction of the scales :)
