Ok, just to check. I've started to tear/rip Yodas greens. Normally l would just chop up the petals from dandelions, pansies and nusturtiums but l am wondering if it's ok to offer the whole flower.
We had Yoda outside today and my daughter went and collected some dandelions and put them near...
ahh ok, i didn't realise that... it's a pain in the butt chopping everything so l'm going to "tear a leaf out of your book" **HAHA get it!! Jane tried to make a funny**
and start ripping not chopping. do l still have to make sure it's smaller than the space between his eyes...
kewl, l still feed crickets twice a day and offer superworms twice a week but only a couple. I also still offer greens 2 -3 times a day, depending on how much he throws around the enclosure and how much he eats.. He's such a little piggy. I gave him a big dish of greens and checked him 10...
not worried about the S.......E.......X..... side of it (spelling it quietly, so l don't get asked 50 million Q's about what it is)
Ok, Yoda is about 10 months.. should l be feeding 1 2 or 3 times a day and when should i start feeding protein every 2nd day?
ahah Brett, l'm actually waiting for my Jackrussell to do that but as l have a solid wooden enclosure l'm not worried about the weight.. my 11 year old is like 35kg and half the time he sits on it watching the tv (for the same reasom.. to keep his bum warm)
l would definately try the tape. cats are very clever creatures and also would be afraid that the screen wouldn't hold their weigh.. not worth risking..
great to hear. Just make sure the crickets are no bigger than the space between his eyes and that you don't leave crickets in the enclosure for an extended time
that's fantastic jaime... congrats..
what foods has he settled into? Are you able to handle him now or is he still a bit of a scallywag? How old is he now and where is the pic??????????
hi and welcome to the big wide world of fussy bearded dragons :)
Firstly your new little fella is probably settling in. He needs crickets or worms a couple of times a day to grow. Crckets, woodies or silkworms are the way to go. You also need to offer lots of greens, even if he doesn't eat them...
hi, l boil mine for about 20 minutes, just keep an eye on the water level.. l guess you wouldn't need to do it that long but l just like to be sure. I'm sure 10 minutes would be fine.
Rocks and bricks do heat up. You'll just have to suck it and see.. meaning you'll have to put it in and just see...
