These crickets are soooooooooooo noisy and I've read so many good things about Dubia Roaches. I'm looking into starting a colony. My concern is having too many at some point. Anybody run into this problem? Do you share with other local beardie/herp lovers?
I think this list is great. I shop for all of the green colored veggies. Then, I chop 'em up into little bits for her. Try to give her something leafy, something crunchy (like squash), and something sweet (strawberry or banana), but very little of the sweet stuff and not every day. :)
so here is an update! We have Lilith in her new Habitat, first day in. We have installed the Zilla 50 dessert 18" tube. A 75 watt ZooMed basking light. And the ceramic heater is in for nighttime use only when cold. Currently her temps are: Hot side is at 99degreees where she basks/107degrees...
Thanks for the head start. We are building an enclosure using JoshJake90's plans with modifications. It'll be 48" long so we are going with a 18"tube light by Zilla on the cool side and Powersun 160watt on the hot basking side. In the middle we will place a ceramic heater for cold winter nights...
Thanks for this website. We are attempting to put one together this weekend. I have questions about the sliding doors and track. Do you recommend a thickness of plexiglass? We bought .93 but it seems flimsy. Also, can you give some advice on applying the tracks? Thanks
