I suppose that may be a possibility, there are instances where they do really seem to retain recognizable memory.

Germ, in getting a 2nd encloser ready, I bought the same size 40 gal tank, 36in long & I bought a 24in UVB bulb & it covers 2/3 of the tank with UVB. I realized I have an 18 inch UVB bulb in Iggy's tank, covers half the tank. should I buy a 24 inch bulb for Iggy? Should he have more UVB coverage in his tank. with the 24in bulb, theres still a foot of non lit section

Some people are like Slinkies. They're good for nothing. But bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

do you have a good Site to get a dubia or similiar roach colony started / Is it a good idea even though mojo is only a couple months old, he eats alot.

While it is young is when you need it the most, that's when it eats the most live prey. Depending on how old the roaches are that you first start out with, will depend on how long before you can readily feed out of it.

If you start out with young nymphs, mojo could be 8 to 10 months old before you can even start readily feeding from it. Roaches don't become adults until they are 4-5 months old & must be adults to breed. Even starting with adults, it will likely be 4-6 months before you can feed out of it, because you need to leave enough to always have adults breeding.
